Comfrey contains a natural compound called allantoin which promotes cell healing and the growth of healthy tissues; it also contains mucilage, a gooey polymer that acts as a membrane thickener (also found in Aloe Vera) which forms a soothing membrane to relieve pain and inflammation.
Comfrey is used for; healing broken bones, sprains, bruises, analgesic and inflammation.
